Millers critical condemnation of pretense stands watertight even after 50 years.  Characters like Giles, leaped appear of the lines as realistic examples of imperfect honesty in the middle of a corrupt community.  The plot move to its climax oft more than satisfyingly when Millers (original playwrighter) full schoolbook was allowed to blab for itself.  His words, helped by the actors portrayals, engaged my emotions and held my fear all the air finished and through John observes heart-wrenching decision in the end surrounded by sacrificing his life or his name. The actors were qualified and usually intumesce-cast. David Suggs (one of my former classmates) handled the change integrity role of John Proctor well for a decimal fraction point novice.

His pensive dissatisfaction with the trial-crazed townspeople and his own marriage came through well in to the highest degree scenes, especially those with his wife Elizabeth. The grand Hale, acted well by some otherwise high school student, served as the sense of hearings conscience during the play.  Many other minor roles showcased local endowment in amusing ways.  Unfortunately, the little girl playing Abigail Williams was generally unimposing in that role.
