Subjects were asked to rate the effectualness of each strategy acco rding to a five-point Likert-type scale.

The study show that the adoption of international account standards, the adoption of international auditing standards, usable training for accounting students during their college education, and raising educational requirements for accounting at the entry level to the occupation are perceived to be the most effective strategies for enhancing accounting employment and practices in Kuwait. These findings sustain important implications for various groups interested in enhancing the accounting profession and practices in Kuwait.
